Why do you need a VPN to watch the UFC?

Many sporting events are organized by a limited number of sponsors. That means a handful of companies have exclusive rights to broadcast a particular competition. Such is also the case with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, rendering the bulk of its content limited to the United States and a couple of streaming services, namely, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.

ESPN+ unavailable

This predicament leaves MMA fans abroad without access to some of the most exciting UFC fights. Luckily, a VPN can change your location and make it seem that you’re residing in the United States. Then you’re no longer affected by geographical restrictions and can unlock everything the UFC offers.

Cheapest way to watch UFC PPV fights

The cheapest way to watch UFC PPV fights is via Mola.tv. It offers tons of free on-demand UFC fights with a $3.00/month subscription to watch live UFC Fight Nights as well as all main card clashes. However, Mola.tv is an Indonesian streaming service only available in Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia. So, if you live outside these countries, the only way to bypass the geo-restrictions is to change your virtual location with UFC VPN.

How to watch UFC live stream with VPN

I want a good VPN for streaming UFC online on Apple TV. Would Nord work well? Their monthly plans are not cheap but they seem like a really good provider. And if they would work well I might consider getting a 1 year deal with them or more.

Hey Gino, thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately, NordVPN doesn’t have an app for Apple TV and it cannot be configured directly. In order to stream UFC on Apple TV with NordVPN, you should either install NordVPN on your router or share a VPN connection from your computer.

UFC fight night is almost upon us and I want to see the fight night champion for free if possible ;). I wonder if I can use Kodi with a free vpn for this? Hmm… Don’t know if that would work. Or I could use a really cheap, monthly paid VPN but which one? And will they work well with Kodi?

Hi, you probably mean UFC 242 🙂 And yes, you can easily watch UFC 242 Khabib vs Poirier live for free on Kodi. When it comes to choosing the right VPN, I suggest to go ether with NordVPN or ExpressVPN as both work with Kodi and have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

For my ufc live stream I think I’ll go for a combination between NordVPN and PPV from Germany since that’s the least expensive option. At the time of the match I will be in China and will be watching on ps4 so I have to make it work that way.

The ufc pay per view cost is just too big right now and I was pleasantly surprised to hear you have a way to cut that down to 1/3. In the past I would try to watch ufc live streaming for free on ustream but that’s not very reliable and I would miss a lot because of connection interruptions. If you want to know how to watch ufc pay per view for free I’ve been there, done that and it wasn’t pretty at all. In the end, nothing is free or if it is you have to pay another price (quality wise). If I can pay a reasonable amount to watch the matches then I’m happy.

I always use vpn for watching different tv shows online. Because in my country many such sites were blocked. But vpn is the best soft for me in such cases. I use tool on Veepn.cоm

Hi, garry. Yes, using a proxy is often not enough to bypass geo-blocking. We have a review of VeePN that you’ve mentioned. At the time of writing, we got mixed results from this VPN provider when it came to streaming and unblocking. Chances are the situation got better in recent months.

This is my favorite sport! I am SO excited that I’ll be able to watch it while I’m abroad this summer. I was worried I’d miss the fights, because I’ve signed up for a study aborad program and I don’t really know what to expect. But I got a VPN anyway, cause I do a lot of torrenting, and as it turns out the one I have (ExpressVPN) works well for this anyway! I’m psyched!

I think, while we take a huge amount of effort in finding for a VPN to watch UFC offline, the fact that no VPN would be able to ensure that we get a non-interrupted streaming is sad

Isn’t that the most annoying? The entire POINT of things like Netflix was to keep all your favorites in ONE PLACE, but now everybody’s gotta grab a slice of the pie and ruin it for everyone.

Thanks for your opinion!
