How to fix Kodi pair errors

How To Fix Kodi Pair Errors

One of the most popular features on Kodi is the ability to pair the service with different streaming sites to access a wide range of content.

Unfortunately, some users often get pairing errors when trying to access certain streaming services with Kodi. These types of errors happen for a variety of reasons, most often because a stream that a user is trying to play requires some form of authorization. The most common pairing errors that users experience are with olpair, tvad.me/pair, thevideo.me/pair, vidup.me/pair, vshare, flashx.tv, and other Openload pairing errors.

Thankfully, there’s a number of ways you can fix Kodi pairing errors, and we’ve compiled a list of the most common ones. Hopefully, it’ll help you find out how to fix Kodi pair errors for your exact situation. Educating yourself on the different ways of fixing Kodi pair errors is one of the best ways to familiarize yourself with the platform and connect with new types of media.

There are a few different methods to fixing the most common pair errors with Kodi, and we’re going to go through a few of them step-by-step to give you an idea of how to fix these errors and get through to the content you wish to stream.

Why do Olpair, and other Openload Kodi pairing errors happen?

The error messages that users see when trying to access these services with Kodi indicate the need for authentication between Kodi and the service. Openload and other services such as Olpair offer a large amount of high-quality content, including films, TV shows, documentaries, and other media. They also offer this content in a higher resolution and fewer buffering issues than other services.

The best part about these services is that they’re free. But this also means getting requests from large numbers of users, and their servers can get overloaded trying to deal with it. To combat this, the services require that users pair their device IP with them to ensure reliable playback. This helps serve high-quality content to all users, but, unfortunately, pairing errors are quite commonplace.

There are a few different methods for addressing this issue. Some of those will require certain precautions to remain secure. It’s recommended to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) while performing some of these tasks to protect your data and devices from prying eyes and malicious actors.

Method #1: manually pairing your device with the service

This is the most straightforward method of addressing Kodi pair errors. The standard method for fixing errors with olpair, tvad.me/pair, thevideo.me/pair, vidup.me/pair, vshare, flashx.tv, and other Openload services goes like this:

1. Run into a pop-up that requests you to make the authorization

2. Open the link in the pop-up, which is https://olpair.com in this case. You can do that from any device that’s using the same wifi.

3. Click reCAPTCHA box to confirm you’re not a robot

4. After confirmation, press the Pair button at the bottom of the page

5. You should see a message about successful pairing

Now, you should be able to access whatever content you want without getting any errors.

While this method is simple and quick, it’s important to note that pairing in this fashion will expose your IP address to the content provider

It’s always advisable to use a VPN for protection when pairing. And always practice safe browsing habits when using these kinds of services.

Another important thing to note about this method is that your device will only remain paired for up to four hours.

Method #2: disabling hosts with captchas

This method involves deactivating content hosts that use captchas for authorization altogether. It allows you to access Kodi content without experiencing some error messages. Also, it disables a lot of content that uses captchas for authorization. As a result, this method is not optimal for fixing error messages.

That being said, this method can be useful for accessing regular Kodi content without experiencing error messages. Again, we’ll use Exodus Redux as an example. To do this:

1. Access the Kodi home screen and open the addons menu by selecting Add-ons > Video add-ons

Kodi add-ons screen

2. Click on Exodus Redux

3. Scroll down and select Tools

Kodi add-ons tools

3. Select the option SETTINGS: Playback

4. Select the Playback option on the left

5. Scroll down to the File Hosting Filters

6. Disable the Hosters with captchas option by switching the toggle next to it.

This will disable all Openload services, such as Olpair, and allow you to access the remaining streaming providers without Kodi pair errors.

As always, we recommend using a VPN when pairing your device to bypass ISP throttling, government surveillance, and geo-blocking.

Bottom line

These are the two standard methods for resolving Kodi pair errors with Olpair and other Openload content providers. Properly pairing your device with the service should resolve most, if not all of the issues. That being said, remember to use a VPN to protect your IP when pairing. Also, keep in mind that pairing only lasts up to 4 hours.

One thing to consider is that other third-party apps are capable of accessing this content on Kodi while avoiding some of the pairing errors that users experience with standard methods. Apps such as Real-Debrid can be used to freely download streamable content from a number of apps to play them back on Kodi.

When using third-party apps, always remember to do your own research before messing around. Keeping yourself safe is the name of the game when you are trying to access all of the high-quality streaming content that Kodi has to offer.

Why doesn’t someone write an app for phone, that will do all four main pair demanders? You could just punch it one click and it would pair up with all four of these vote demanders. Or maybe there is one, because every place I get on google searches for help with this seem to be making big money selling VPN. Which are almost worthless, because most of my stuff won’t work on VPN. Netflix for example doesn’t work on VPN. Now if the VPN is so secret, how the f does Netflix know I have it?

It’s refreshing to come to your site and find constantly updated content. There are things I never knew existed until I started browsing the articles here. I’ve learned about geo-blocking, vpn’s, and other tools for protecting my privacy. I’ve also learned about excellent tools like Kodi for making my home theater experience even better. I’m already always telling people about vpnpro as a great resource.

Thanks for your opinion!
