The third and final season is Mission Breakout, which saw the team framed for stealing an item called the Kree. Other Marvel characters, including Spider-Man and Venom, made an appearance in a crossover of different Marvel TV series.

Peter Quill obtains an orb that makes him the main target of Ronan, the villain. Quill gathers a team called the Guardians of the Galaxy to help him defeat the villain and protect the galaxy.
